We made The Biggest Human Pink Ribbon of the World in Los Cabos

The community of Los Cabos gathered last December 5th, 2010 in order to create the Biggest Human Pink Ribbon that has been registered in Mexico.

The point was to give information and raise consciousness about the importance of the early detection of breast cancer.

The event was hosted by Monserrat Olivier and Barbara Coppel. Attendees spent a pleasurable time in front of the Finisterra beach, where the people congregated little by little. More than 3,400 attendees participated on this noble cause.

Mrs. Paola Campean, the organizer of this event, thanked the participation of everyone and mentioned how proud she felt to see how whole families were part of that party. Breast cancer is the first cause of death in women of our country and not only affects those who suffered it but also their family and loved ones.

Mrs. Letty Coppel, one of the main sponsors of the event, congratulatd the citizens and offered her full support through her foundation to these kinds of causes, which are extremely important, not just for Los Cabos, but for the whole country.

Once again, the unity of the civil society demonstrated that they can generate a change in our country, a change that promoted health and preservation of it.
