On October 9th, the Pueblo Bonito Group worked through the Letty Coppel Foundation to launch the Breakfast Support Program at the Elementary School Democracia, located in Uriah and the kindergarten Rafael Buelna. This benefits over 400 students at both schools.
This support is made available in coordination with the Mazatlan DIF System. The Pueblo Bonito Group provides the ingredients used by the mothers in each of the school kitchens to prepare breakfast for the children.
The Letty Coppel Fundation and the Pueblo Bonito Group’ s objective is to improve the students’ academic performance, by ensuring that the food provided meets the necessary requirements for a balanced diet.
The Director of DIF System Mazatlan, Mr. Benjamin Villela and the Coordinator of the School Breakfast Program, Ms. Magda Castillo, as well as directors of the participating schools, attended the event.
