Letty Coppel Foundation delivers 120 pairs of glasses

Last April 15, 2011, Letty Coppel Foundation gifted 120 vouchers to get graduated lenses to be donated to low-income people with visual problems.

This is the first delivery of lenses carried out by the Letty Coppel Foundation in coordination with the Association a Hand of Friendship presided over by  the Lic. Fernando Pucheta,  who is responsible for developing the socio-economic studies of the applicants for this support.

Older adults and children were benefitted who will now have a change in their daily activities, since poor vision will not be a hindrance anymore.  In addition of receiving their lenses, they will also have the opportunity to have an ophthalmological study to know the current state of their vision.

The delivery is carried out in the facilities of the Association the Hand of Friendship; the Letty Coppel Foundation continues with their actions and support to people of low-income in the municipality of Mazatlan.
