On October 19, 2010, International Breast Cancer Day was celebrated. This event took place at the premises where the Letty Coppel Medical Unit was located, which was donated to the municipal DIF in 2006 and where there are services of mastographs as well as other services.
For this celebration was present the President and the Director of the Municipal DIF and municipal and state health authorities, who gave the message of prevention for those attending this event; after the protocol event, talks and reviews were held.
The Letty Coppel Foundation medical unit was donated to the municipal DIF in October 2006 for the detection of breast cancer in addition to performing clinical studies such as Papanicolaou and densitometry.
