On February 4th, we celebrated Candelaria Day at the Hands Joined by Disability Association (Spanish Acronym AMAD) where the students could enjoy the traditional tamales and delicious champurrado.
On January 6th Letty Coppel Foundation celebrated with AMAD the traditional Three Magic Kings bread roll, where the students there got the little doll that represents Jesus as a baby, and according to the tradition if you got it you have to eat tamales on February 2nd.
The teachers from AMAD helped to serve the students, who had fun with the music that was playing, and some of the mothers helped their children to eat. The students had their computer, paint and reading classes.
