On Saturday, November 24, 2012, the Letty Coppel Foundation and DIF of Cabo San Lucas held a talk about prostate cancer prevention at the Pueblo Bonito Hotels in Cabo San Lucas.

They held the talk about prostate cancer in men, the place took place in the Santa Ana Hotel Pueblo Bonito Sunset, where more than 140 employees attended, at the point of 11:00 am. Dr. Andrés Flores and Dr. Ariadna Alvelais, who pointed out the importance of having information about this disease, also mentioned the risk factors, being attentive and alert of the symptoms presented, they mentioned that we must have the culture to go at least once a year to perform a medical checkup. At the end of the talk were also present Dr. David González and Dr. Araceli Rodríguez, specialists in these cases to carry out the prostate cancer prevention exams, inviting all the collaborators to carry out this examination having 30 years henceforth, the purpose of this talk is to raise awareness among men about prostate cancer, just as they invite their fellow partner to participate in these programs, the motto is “once a year does not hurt.”
