As part of their commitment to environmental protection, the Pueblo Bonito Group released 300 baby turtles on October 1st. The Pueblo Bonito Group participated through the Letty Coppel Foundation and worked with the Mazatlan Aquarium staff. The aquarium staff gave a short speech about the program protecting sea turtles and the incubation process of the turtle eggs. At the end of the event each of the attendees received and named a turtle and then placed it on the sand where they watched it start its journey to sea.
