Through the Letty Coppel Foundation and in coordination with the Mazatlan Aquarium, the Pueblo Bonito Group participated in the release of 900 baby turtles on the beach in front of the Hotel Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan. Guests, children and the hotel staff participated in the release. First, they all learned about the importance of protecting sea turtles, as well as all endangered species. Then attendees released the turtles into the sea.
The Letty Coppel Foundation actively participates in the Sea Turtle Protection Program, whose primary objective is the preservation of this endangered species and also to create environmental awareness among those who participate in the releases.
