The Letty Coppel Foundation celebrated its 6th Anniversary on March 26th, 2010. This celebration was attended by Ms. Letty Gonzalez de Coppel, president of the foundation.
The event took place at the facilities of the Antonio Martínez Atayde Children’s Garden where there were just over 300 people, among whom were people benefited by the foundation. Among the special guests was the presence of Ms. Perla Sarmiento, president of the DIF Mazatlán as well as school authorities.
The event began with the inauguration of the classroom “Mrs. Letty Gonzalez de Coppel, “which was built with funding from the foundation to provide care for children with special education needs with or without disabilities. Ms. Letty Coppel. Subsequently, the anniversary festival began where there were artistic numbers such as regional dances and the participation of the choir of older adults.
On the other hand, various supports were given by the foundation among those who were given, the following can be mentioned: Scholarships for children with different capacities, supports for the elderly, help for street children, lens delivery in addition to delivery of support to the girl Joselin Guzmán, who was supported with plane tickets to be attended in the United States because of her vision problem.
The event ended with the traditional cake, which was enjoyed by all those attending this celebration and the presentation of the choir of older adults, who performed various songs that were liked by the audience.
